Looks delicious. My wife typically uses Korean pears when we can get them. Good to know kiwi is a suitable substitute for the marinade.

What kind of meat is that? Looks like ribeye. Nice video! Ahh, sirloin beef- I replayed the video. 😬 So after some research it seems the primary choices of meat are top sirloin, ribeye or tenderloin, correct?

I have been eating Korean food since 1982 when I visited Korea the first time.  Bulgogi is excellent and such a great meal when combined with "ssam" and the Korean side dishes called "ban-chan".  Thank you for a great recipe Chef Choi.

Ma'am what life did you use!! Also you said that if Asian Pear isn't available one can use 🥝 kiwi and pineapple and again you said you said no to pineapple!! I'd use chicken as due to religious reasons can't have beef and iceberg lettuce to wrap and eat!! This dish is quite similar to a dish made by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey, spicy beef and lettuce wraps!! Nevertheless I liked your cooking and explaining the logic behind using Asian pears for marination.

I have eaten chicken bulgogi in Singapore, and as a south Asian I like it spicy and Singapore Korean restaurants had the option to make it spicy. What should I add to make it spicy. Adding chili or pepper ?
